Who deserves health care - elderly or prisoners?

I am disturbed that the "mad scientist" Zeke Emanuel (brother of ballet dancer and Obama senior advisor Rahm Emanuel) believes that the Hippocratic Oath is an inherent problem for physicians. Dr. Emanuel believes that the Hippocratic Oath causes the physician to care more for the patient than society as a whole!

Betsy McCaughey wrote a terrific piece for the Wall Street Journal

In the June 18, 2008, issue of JAMA, Dr. Emanuel blames the Hippocratic Oath for the "overuse" of medical care: "Medical school education and post graduate education emphasize thoroughness," he writes. "This culture is further reinforced by a unique understanding of professional obligations, specifically the Hippocratic Oath's admonition to 'use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgment' as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of cost or effect on others."

Our country houses approximately 2 Million prisoners. And yahoos are concerned about these people being included in the ObamaCare debacle.

What? Our government will consider whether grandma and grandpa are productive citizens when denying medical coverage to them . . . but prisoners get health care! Who exactly is contributing more to society?
