Obama care destruction of private health insurance

Joe Biden and President Obama have misled the American people.

It is plainly dishonest to tell the American people that "if you like your insurance coverage and doctor then you can keep them"! Once again, the Obama administration is preying on the naivety and desperation of a segment of the public. Moreover, there is actually a pathetic segment of the population that looks towards the government to care for them from cradle to grave.

According to a recent study by the Lewin Group, a new government health insurance plan or 'public option' could mean that as many as 119 million Americans would lose their private insurance.

Too many people are assuming a typical "aww this won't affect me" attitude. These people actually believe that the talk of Obama care will have nothing to do with them. These frankly self-centered and self-absorbed people argue that they already have insurance and a doctor they like. Certainly, contend this dangerous uninformed citizenry, the government will not take away my insurance or my doctor.

The truth is that our country is moving away from capitalism and on a fast track to fascism.

Fascism-
Any movement, tendency or ideology that favors dictatorial government, centralized control of private enterprise, repression of all opposition and extreme nationalism.

Obama is taking over private enterprises - one by one. And that is wrong. The federal government has no business competing with private markets. How can BCBS be expected to compete with a player (the federal government) that can print money? They cannot. They won't. Like GM and Chrysler, health care will be owned by Obama.

Why does it mean that Americans want the federal government to care for them - cradle to grave? Have Americans lost the confidence to make in the world on their own?

The quality and affordability of health care must be a concern for all Americans. A one-size-fits-all system will not improve care. It will bring the quality of care down for those who currently have insurance.

I do not think that Americans appreciate the fact that unprecedented federal government take-overs of competitive markets cannot be simply undone once Obama signs them into law.

Why the rush? It seems like a "bum's rush." The Obama administration does not want the American public to take time to learn what the programs mean. That is consistent with congressmen not even reading the stimulus bills!!
