Caregiving when your loved one doesn't know you

It is tough to be caregiver when the loved one (in my case an elderly dad) suddenly does not know who I am.

I am sure others have gone through this. My job is not to share memories today. It is just to care for him. He needs me. I cannot be selfish.

I guess I just did not realize until right now how much I needed him to be my dad.

More later. Peace out.

  1. You aren't alone. We baby boomers who number quite many are all entering this phase of our lives.

I started a blog, too, to journal my way through it (http://preparingforgrief.blogspot.com).

Also, early on, found some really great info on the web by searching on hospice care.

    With regards
